General Notes: Helen Kutz's genealogy shows her birth name as Ella Victoria, however it was legally registered as Ellen Victoria in B.C.

Medical Notes: While working on the Bonneville Dam in Washington State, Kermit had a bad fall that injured his kidneys (this according to his sister, Marietta). His health deteriorated after that. Though some notes say it was Bright's Disease, his sister Marietta said that it was more likely the fall that damaged the kidneys. Brights Disease is an archaic disease name which included many diseases that are now known to cause kidney failure.
